[Artist Biography]

|
Norman Stevens was one of the group of artists, including David Hockney, who studied at Bradford College of Art in the 1950s and then went on to establish major reputations.
Like Hockney, prints were an important part of Steven's output, but technically he was technically more adventurous. His 'Shadowed Garden' is a masterpiece of mezzotint - (but if you are interested in it - please see comments on its condition).
